The LIFE National Conference

The LIFE National Conference took place over the weekend of 20-22 March.
Several hundred delegates from all over the UK and beyond - Ireland, France and even South Korea - attended the conference held in the Park Inn Hotel, Northampton.

The theme of the conference was 'Loving Life, Offering Hope' and LIFE supporters, volunteers and staff had the opportunity to hear excellent speakers, learn about the work of LIFE and network and share experiences with colleagues from different LIFE groups all over the country.
Pregnancy Matters information packs and leaflets were displayed as part of the LIFE Housing and Care stand in the conference hall. Many delegates were impressed with the eye catching images, colours and design of the materials.

A highlight of the conference weekend for some of our LIFE NI delegates was undoubtedly watching the Ireland v Wales rugby match, which just happened to fit nicely into the space between the last session on Saturday evening and the conference dinner! Some of our English colleagues, who have Irish roots, joined us in shouting and cheering for Ireland and then in celebrating an amazing 6 Nations Championship and Grand Slam victory!
Taking all things into account, it was a very enjoyable and memorable conference and for those who were regular 'conference go-ers', it was one of the best yet!
